There are two helm seats and a separate bucket seat to port. Bench seating sweeps all along the aft. You don't have to fold up or remove the aft bench to access the engine compartment. A hatch that comes up electrically, lifts the whole shooting match with it.
Not only is the entertaining area in the cockpit more spacious, but below decks there is also more room to move and prepare meals.

The 340's cabin has a well conceived Galley with microwave oven and dual voltage refrigeration that faces a U shaped lounge that converts to a double berth. There's a roomy mid cabin as well, it really is a cabin, not just another stowage space.
