This beautiful 1935 "Fife" Scottish design timber cruiser was built by the well known Holmes family and originally had a steadying sail fitted and the vendor still has the mast.
Built from Kauri pine timber she has a planked hull and topsides.
In 1975 "Kareela" was restored by Milcraft QLD including pilot house conversion, she was antifouled 16/09/2020 and the anodes were replaced.
A new marine Iveco engine was fitted in 2000 and the pilot house was re built. There has been a continual and on going upgrade carried out by owners since purchased in 2017.
The shaft bearing was replaced in august 2019 and the stuffing box bearing replaced in October 2019.
If you love timber boats, this one is well worth checking out.
Kareela is a credit to her present owners and is ready for the next adventures and passages.
