Details
"Teepookana" is a beautifully built, pretty little trailer sailer with plenty of character and just enough space for those overnight adventures on Australia's beautiful lake, rivers and bays.
Her moderate rig and fixed ballast give her good stability and sailing characteristics and the open area between the berths in the cabin gives space for the Porta Potty. There is a stove and small galley bench with a locker opposite, the arrangement of the water tight compartments and other features allow her to comply with requirements of the trailerable yacht association for racing.
The David Payne 18 is constructed of strip plank and a 300 gsm fibreglass reinforcement inside and out, decks and bulkheads are ply.
All you need to do is throw her on the back of the Car or 4WD and explore AUS.
