"Mirrabooka" has classic period lines and sails along beautifully. She was launched in May of 1957 and restored recently to her former glory.
The boat was designed by Ken Watts who is perhaps better known as the designer of the smaller Bluebird class plywood yachts. The original yacht of the class named "Daydream" was launched in March of 1955 and sailed many thousands of miles to NZ, Fiji, Noumea and Lord Howe Island and return, which certainly proves the seaworthiness of these yachts.
Whether racing around the cans or cruising the weekend with family and friends, this little heritage yacht will certainly turn a few heads.
