Details
The Mottle 33 is a well designed and popular Australian yacht, renowned for their sailing ability and space. "Gambit" was constructed in a rather robust manner to compete in the 1980 Sydney to Hobart race, which she did and completed. To ensure she did the job, she was modified and set up with a racing mast, running backstays, deeper lead keel and a rather generous lay up of glass in her construction which has resulted in a very strong hull. She is powered by a Yanmar 30 hp engine which is in excellent condition and has only 130 hours on the clock. With an economical and reliable engine, new covers and an extensive sail wardrobe, her current owner of 13 years has decided she is ready for a new owner and another adventure.
