The Nordic Folkboat was designed as a clinker built wooden sloop in 1942 by the Scandinavian Yacht Racing Union (SYRU). The first Nordic Folkboat was built in Göteborg in Sweden. In the late 1960s, a GRP version was design licensed to be built.
This beautiful 2007 model was bought new and been sailed and raced on Newcastle harbour. She is a great sailor and will give you lots of Fun as well as being a good seaworthy and competitive boat.
She has a mariner 6 hp engine, with low hours Good sleeping for 4, and a tidy designed Cooking area.
