Pandion is a production built blue water cruiser, beautifully designed by the well-known American designer, Ted Brewer, built and fitted out in Burmese teak by the Olympic Shipyard in Greece.
She has a very comfortable sea-kindly motion, but can also sail well in all winds, thanks to Brewer's excellent hull profile. She is completely ready for extended bluewater cruising right now, with no extra work required.
Sleeping up to 8 with two heads, fridge and freezer, she is very spacious, with volumes of storage, and is often mistaken for a 50 footer. The boat has been maintained to a high and safe offshore standard. A New Yanmar 75hp turbo diesel engine installed in 2015, all new chainplates in 2018, new folding prop, and topside deck paint in 2019, are just some of the many upgrades and maintenance completed. She is Ketch rigged with 3 furling sails (main, mizzen and headsail), has an infinite number of sail arrangements, and can be sailed from the cockpit. Easy for a couple to handle, or a singlehander. In addition, a hard dodger and all around clears means that she can be sailed in any weather while the crew stays dry and secure in the centre cockpit.
A good electronics package with radar, chart-plotter, AIS, HF and VHF, and two autopilots completes this well-found cruiser. A beautiful boat with pleasing lines, equally at home cruising the coast, or crossing oceans.
Pandion has been thoroughly enjoyed by her current owners who unfortunately due to work commitments have decided to sell.
